Pascale Fung is a junior in Mather House concentrating in Neuroscience on the Mind, Brain, Behavior Track, with a secondary in Educational Studies. She is originally from San Diego, California but now resides in Irvine, California. Pascale loves to run, play volleyball, and try tasty bites around the city in her free time. Her passions include uncovering the mystery of the human brain, educational outreach, and mentoring younger students. Pascale was drawn to the field of neuroscience and behavior when she first learned of the story of Phineas Gage, a railroad worker whose brain and eye were pierced by a rod and had his personality altered entirely. She is intrigued by the intersection between neurobiology and these changes in behavior and personality and hopes to continue exploring human cognition!
